Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This cosy cottage perfectly marries authentic farmhouse design with modern comforts. High-quality fittings and contemporary furniture is touched by the charm and character of traditional farm buildings. The quaint, stone exterior exudes a homespun quality, yet the cottage flourishes with modern luxury once inside. Think chairs made with Italian leather, a smart TV with multiple streaming platforms and a huge L-shaped sofa flowing along the exposed brick walls. There's also a stylish breakfast bar to sit with a morning cup of coffee and slowly wake up amongst the tranquility. Unique, neatly designed and homely, it's the type of home that breathes a sense of calm into your body. However, that feeling of calm changes to excitement once you enter the games room, featuring table tennis and a pool table. Kids can spend hours switching between the two, and the adults usually fancy a game too. In the summer months, the games continue outdoors. Your hosts can provide equipment for football games and rounders, encompassed by the sweeping beauty of the rolling hills. If you'd prefer a slower pace to the day, simply sit in the garden with a glass of wine and admire the stunning view. But we do suggest getting your walking boots on for at least a day or two – the sprawling beauty of the Peak District deserves to be explored.

The park’s diversity can be appreciated by taking the time to explore both the so-called Dark Peak to the north, where you’ll find acres of moorland stretching out in front of you, and the limestone gorges and valleys of...

Host

This home is managed by Julia

This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Julia looks after a quartet of cottages on an upland sheep farm in the Peak District. Not only are the homes really rather charming, but it's also possible to buy farm produce and other artisanal products in the onsite shop.
